Beasts & Blossoms Nature Photography & Handmade Jewellery - every purchase supports wildlife conservation

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit! Beasts & Blossoms combines two of my passions to bring you fine art images & handmade sterling silver jewellery that capture the beauty of nature. I believe that art & jewellery should both be beautiful and reflect what’s important to you, and that you should feel good about the things you choose to wear and surround yourself with (or give as gifts!). That’s why I produce my images & jewellery as ethically and sustainably as possible, and why I donate at least 50% of all profits to wildlife conservation charities.

I’ve spent years working as a conservation biologist, & one thing that becomes clear very quickly when you’re working with threatened species is that people caring is really the key to their conservation. If we don’t care about other species, we won’t take action to save them. And we don’t care about things that we don’t appreciate or value, or if we don’t even know that they exist at all. That’s where the smaller plants & animals are often at a disadvantage – they’re so easy to overlook. And that’s why I have a bit of an obsession with my macro lens – it lets me showcase some of these fabulous smaller species. I hope I can introduce you to some plants & animals you haven’t met yet, or show you another side of ones you already know.

January 2017: The jewellery shop is offline at the moment because I’m currently designing a new collection – I was originally planning to launch late last year, but the wildflower season was so good that I spent most of my time outside work searching for & photographing flowers, which means that I haven’t had any time to put into my jewellery. I’m just getting myself organised to focus on jewellery again, so please join the Beasts & Blossoms VIP List to be kept up to date…
