Giant spider orchid

Giant spider orchids really live up to their name – they have one of the biggest flowers of any WA orchid. They live in woodlands & flower from late September to early November. Unfortunately, these spectacular wildflowers are listed as Endangered – they’re only found in a relatively small area in the Margaret River region, and most of the known populations are very small. To help protect threatened flora & fauna in WA, 50%+ of the profits from all sales of this print are donated to the Conservation Council of Western Australia.
