Plum sun orchid

$34$212

Plum sun orchids are one of my favourite WA orchids! They live amongst dense shrubs in winter-wet swamps in south west WA, from north of Perth down to Albany on the south coast. This is one of relatively few orchids native to WA who’s distribution extends into other states – they’re also found in SA, Victoria & Tasmania, but they’re rare / threatened in Victoria & Tassie. Luckily they aren’t threatened in WA :). They flower from September to November.
